Cottars 1920's Mara Safari Camp accommodates up to twelve clients in authentic, spacious white canvas tents. Luxuriously furnished, incorporating original safari antiques from the '20s. Each tent has a dressing room and bathroom (old-fashioned tub), a main bedroom and private verandah. The Cottar safari tradition began in 1919 and eighty years on, continues with Calvin and Louise Cottar residing at camp.
The camp is situated bordering the Serengeti and Loliondo reserves in an untouched 250,000 acre exclusive concession providing the discerning client a guarantee of privacy and an abundance of wildlife. Game drives are offered (if you prefer in a vintage 1920s vehicle) during the day and at night, along with bush walks, river fishing and swimming all supported by dedicated butlers, trackers, chefs and the service team. Massages are also available.
