Hippo Hollow is located in Mpumalanga on the banks of the Sabie River. Thirty-seven thatched self-catering chalets and 54 hotel rooms are available and have views of the river or the picturesque gardens. The chalets and rooms feature en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning/heating, satellite television, tea-making facilities, and private verandahs. Facilities include two swimming pools, a curios shop, laundry service and several dining venues and lounges. The lodge is the jumping off point for the elephant interactions, Shangaan dinner and helicopter rides.
