Sayari Camp is based in the northern region of the park, a gem of an area that is off the beaten path. The region features loads of resident game and is good to visit year round, peaking during the Migration crossings on the Mara River from July through October.
The camp, completely rebuilt in 2009, has two separate wings, one with nine tents and the other with six tents – each wing has their own dining tent serving top food and drinks and a cozy fire place and lounge/mess tent. The new luxury tents feature comfortable beds and en suite bathroom facilities, with a private verandah overlooking the Serengeti landscape. Activities include open vehicle game drives, fly camping expeditions, exceptional wildlife viewing – and a first, walking safaris within the Serengeti!
