Treetops is celebrating its 80th birthday and has undergone major renovations. The hotel claimed its page in history when Princess Elizabeth stayed there and learned she had become the Queen of England in 1952! Nestled in the Aberdares, Treetops is one of Kenya’s famous tree hotels. Guests, staying in one of 32 en-suite guest rooms, are able to view animals appearing at the lighted waterhole during the evening. Other activities include sundowner game drive, historical site visits, and tours of the Moorlands. The Outspan is an old colonial style hotel where one checks in for Treetops.
