Chyulu Hills National Park, located between Amboseli National Park and West Tsavo National Park, is composed of a relatively new volcano range, formed only 500 years ago. The ash cones and craters that make up the park provide breathtaking scenery with Mt. Kilimanjaro visible in the distance. Animals frequently seen in the park include eland, elephant, bushbuck, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest and even leopard. The western half of the park is overseen by several Maasai groups.
