  • Day 01+02
  • Depart Windhoek by comfortable charter flight to Namibia's big game country. Morning game drives in open vehicles are normally spent within Etosha National Park, returning to Ongava in time for a well earned lunch. Enjoy more flora and fauna with an afternoon game drive leading into night drive. Overnight Andersson's Camp.
  •
  • Day 03
  • Depart westwards by road toward the Palmwag concession. Here both on the concession and in the surrounding areas the desert elephant and black rhino can be found. Special activities include tracking and searching for these wonderful mammals on foot and by vehicle. Overnight Palmwag Lodge.
  •
  • Day 04+05
  • With an early start, your journey continues by road towards the ephemeral river of the Hoanib Valley. Here, in an area seemingly parched and desolate, you enter one of Namibia's richest desert wildlife areas. 2 nights Hoanib Camp or Desert Rhino Camp.
  •
  • Day 06
  • Departing early, you travel east to Sesfontein. End the long journey at Damaraland Camp. Activities include explorations on foot, by bike or 4x4 vehicle, viewing springbok, oryx and ostrich and tracking the unique desert-adapted elephant. Overnight Damaraland Camp.
  •
  • Day 07
  • Leave Damaraland Camp and cross over the Huab riverbed. Traveling southwest you begin to find some Welwitschia plants, and some petrified wood. Pass the Gai As spring where you find numerous stone circles made by people who lived here about 500 years ago. Overnight The Stiltz.
  •
  • Day 08+09
  • Drive South to Walvis Bay Lagoon. Here is a protected bay where many flamingos, pelicans and other waterfowl congregate. On the calm waters of the bay, you may do some sea kayaking. This is a spectacular activity that allows you to approach the waterbirds at a respectable distance and in their habit, allowing for some unique photographic opportunities of birds flying low over the bay. Next day enjoy access to the Sossusvlei dunes, for walks in the immense moving sands of the Namib, game drives in the concession and stargazing. 2 nights Kulala Desert Lodge or Kulala Wilderness Camp.
  •
  • Day 10
  • After breakfast transfer by road to Windhoek, including lunch overlooking the view of the plains nearby and bid farewell to the adventure.
