Itinerary

• Day 01+02
• Depart this evening on an overnight flight to Europe. Connect with your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Nairobi Serena Hotel.

• Day 03+04
• Leave Nairobi after breakfast with your group and driver/guide to Sweetwaters. Heading north, you'll pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. Arrival at the Camp in time for lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive including a visit to the Chimp Sanctuary returning to the camp as the sun sets. Morning and afternoon game drives. Activities include day and night game drives, escorted walks, and game viewing from the platform. 2 nights Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

• Day 05+06
• Leaving Sweetwaters and Mount Kenya behind, you head west to Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson's Falls for its 237 foot cascade. Now travel in a southerly direction past Lake Nakuru, colored a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores and onto Lake Elementaita and the Soysambu Conservancy. Following lunch there is a two hour bush walk with camp naturalist and a visit to the Kariandusi pre-historic site and the Kikopey hot springs returning for a sundowner before retiring to the camp. Enjoy game activities. 2 nights Lake Elmentaita Serena Camp.

• Day 07+08
• After an early morning breakfast, drive to Narok town via Mai-Mahiu with a brief a rest stop and proceed on to Mara arriving in time for lunch at a lodge. After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive en route to Mara Serena lodge arriving as the sun sets. Activities include the daily game drives in the vehicle. The lodge also offers optional activities that include morning bird and nature trails with resident naturalist, visits to a traditional Maasai Manyatta (village), wildlife and cultural talks, videos and film shows, tribal dancing displays nightly, and sundowners” at a selection of magnificent Mara lookouts. Early morning and afternoon game drives. 2 nights Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

• Day 09+10
• Enjoy a morning game drive enroute to Nairobi. Continue to your hotel where a day room has been reserved (until 6:00pm) after which you will be transferred to Nairobi airport for your onward international flight. Day room: Ole Sereni Hotel. Depart next evening on an overnight flight to Europe. Welcome home!
