Itinerary

• Day 01
• Travel.

• Day 02
• Upon arrival in Nairobi this evening you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel.

• Day 03-05
• You will be met and transferred to Wilson Airport. Depart on your scheduled charter flight to your camp within the Maasai Mara. Activities include shared game drives, walking safaris in the Mara Conservation area, and visits to Maasai communities supported by the camp. Riverside bush breakfasts, sundowners and dinners can be arranged. Enjoy two full days of activities. An optional balloon safari may be taken. (As the sun rises over the plains of Africa you will have a bird’s eye view of the world below and the chance to see game from a completely different perspective. After landing, there is a champagne breakfast in the bush.) 3 nights Mara Intrepids or Mara Explorer.

• Day 06
• Fly to Kigali, Rwanda. Upon arrival in Kigali you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Kigali Serena Hotel.

• Day 07+08
• This morning you will be picked up and transferred to your lodge in Ruhengeri and Volcanoes National Park. Gorilla trekking is not the only activity on offer. You will have an early wake up this morning as you will be collected at around 5:30am and transferred to the park gate at Kinigi for your first gorilla visit (6:45 am). Here you will meet your tracker and the day will be spent tracking the mountain gorillas. 2 nights Gorilla Mountain View Lodge or Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge.

• Day 09
• This morning you will depart on your second gorilla trek. Drive back to Kigali. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Kigali Serena Hotel.

• Day 10
• This morning you will have a Kigali City Tour including a visit to the Genocide Museum and local market. You will be transferred back to Kigali Airport. Continue on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Nairobi. Depart this evening on an overnight flight to Europe.

• Connect to your onward flight to the USA.
