An extremely luxurious lodge or permanent tented camp (fi ve-star) with superb cuisine and excellent service, swimming pool and, many of them, with a private “plunge” pool (small swimming pool) for each chalet or tent. Lodges and chalets are air-conditioned, while the tents may be air-conditioned or fan-cooled.
Bisate Lodge's location next to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park makes for an ideal base to gorilla trek. Accommodations include nine luxurious rooms with en suite bathroom, artisan hand crafted furnishings and spectacular views of Bisoke, Karisimbi and Mikeno Volcanoes. The main lodge is the ideal place to gather over cocktails by the bar, relax by the fireplace or enjoy a delicious meal in the dining room. The Lodge works closely with the local Tuzamurane Cooperative and is a successful example of ecotourism and conservation. Aside from gorilla trekking, there is much to do including tracking golden monkey, visiting Dian Fossey's grave or the local village.
