An extremely luxurious lodge or permanent tented camp (fi ve-star) with superb cuisine and excellent service, swimming pool and, many of them, with a private “plunge” pool (small swimming pool) for each chalet or tent. Lodges and chalets are air-conditioned, while the tents may be air-conditioned or fan-cooled.
Cheetah Plains is a lodge in South Africa's Sabi Sands that encapsulates luxury, environmental sustainability and exclusive-use. Families and groups will appreciate the private nature of the camp's three Bush Villas that each divided into four suites each. The Bush Villas features a lounge, dining area, expansive sun deck with daybed and lap pool, and chef's kitchen. The main lounge is stylish with comfortable seating areas, a bar and long captains table for dining. Cool off in the large swimming pool and in the evening guests congregate by the fireplace.
Activities include morning and afternoon/night game drives. In between game drives, a visit to the local village, where many of the guides are from, can be scheduled.
