A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.
Located west of Chief’s Island in the Okavango Delta, Eagle Island Lodge has eleven reed and thatch chalets with en suite facilities. A highlight of your stay will be sundowners at the Fish Eagle Bar which is connected to the camp by a long boardwalk. There is a swimming pool built among the reeds as well as a shady lounge area and curio shop. Activities include mokoro rides, walks and sundowner cruises.
