A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.
Finch Hattons Safari Camp is within Tsavo West National Park, with views of Kilimanjaro and Chyulu Hills. Sixteen luxury tented suites overlook a hippo pool, each with indoor-outdoor showers, free-standing bathtub and private viewing deck. Gather for drinks at the Karen Blixen Lounge or take a dip in the infinity pool. The main lounge area also features a library, cigar bar and star gazing deck. Enjoy delicious locally harvested cuisine served in the formal dining room or on the outdoor terrace. The Health and Wellness Center has two massage pavilions and gym.
Morning and afternoon game drives, escorted nature walks, cultural visits to a Maasai village, sundowners on the Chyulu Hills and optional bush breakfasts can all be arranged.
