Kambaku River Sands

Kambaku River Sands is situated on the banks of a perennial river system within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and consists of ten luxury suites beautifully positioned between Leadwood and Jackalberry trees.  Each air-conditioned room is en suite with bath, indoor and outdoor showers and a private verandah.  The main area consists of a boma, fireplace, bar, library and swimming pool.  Meals can be enjoyed al fresco in the boma or alongside the riverbed surrounded by campfires.  A large viewing deck overlooks the waterhole, and guests have access to a gym or relax between game activities at the spa with sauna and steam room facilities (additional costs apply).

With an opportunity to view the Big 5, activities include morning and afternoon game drives and bush walks as well as access to a hide.  Guests can also book visits to local attractions, including the Timbavati museum and helicopter flip (additional costs apply).
