A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Class A" properties. Facilities could be "Class A," but located in a sub-standard game-viewing area.
Kirkman’s Kamp is a historic lodge overlooking the Sand River with spectacular views of the wilderness as far as the eye can see. Each of the 12 charming suites has a private veranda and en suite facilities. A rim-flow pool is a refreshing option between game drives. The camp is located on a 15,568-acre private game reserve in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, bordering the southwestern corner of Kruger National Park. The reserve has no fences so animals are free to roam.Morning and night game drives take place in open vehicles and guided bush walks are also offered.
