Klein’s Camp

Classic A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.

Klein's Camp is located on a 25,000 acre private conservation area, bordered on the west by Serengeti National Park. There are 10 cottages made of rock and thatch with rich wooden floors and serene, classic interiors. As in days gone by, water for the shower of your en suite bathroom is warmed each evening by a roaring fire under the tank while you enjoy quiet sundowner drinks on your private veranda. Escorted by the quiet, regal Maasai, dinner waits in the lantern-lit dining room overlooking the valley below.

The camp has a large bar/living area a short walk downhill from the dining room and features stunning views of the valleys below. A fire place graces the dining area which is elevated above the lounge area, and a short walk from the reception and curio shop and gallery. The camp also boasts a swimming pool and leisure deck. Activities here include both day and night game drives, as well as escorted walks in the private concession area. You may have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village seldom visited by tourists.
