Loisaba Tented Camp

Classic A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.

Loisaba Tented Camp is a tranquil haven for wildlife and visitors alike. Perched high on the edge of an escarpment with views across the Laikipia plains to Mount Kenya, the camp consists of sixteen tents, including 3 family tents, each with en suite bathroom, polished wood floors, stylish furnishings and wide verandahs to enjoy the spectacular views. The large infinity pool overlooks the vast wilderness and is located near the main lodge. Join other guests for cocktails followed a delicious dinner in the open dining room.

The Kiboko Starbeds are a highlight of your stay at Loisaba. Each Star Bed is designed on a raised, wooden platform that is partially covered with a thatched roof in case of inclement weather. The beds are on wheels and can be moved on the deck according to your preference. There is a bucket shower and flush toilet.

Activities are varied and include game drives, bush walks, horse and camel rides, fishing, mountain bike rides and spending time with sniffer dogs that are used by the anti-poaching team. As some of these activities are seasonal, please ask on arrival what is available during your visit.
