A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game-viewing area.
Olmara Camp is located on the eastern plains of the Serengeti, in a remote game viewing region called Soit le Motonyi, which is known for predator activity. The camp features eight canvas tents each with mosquito net draped bed, large lounge area, en suite bathroom with double vanity, flush toilet and shower. Two of the tents are unique as they are designed with ‘star domes’ and an open rooftop so that you can enjoy the African stars. The main lounge area includes the dining room, bar area and living area with comfortable seating. In the evening, enjoy sitting by the campfire. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives.
