Sanbona Dwyka Tented Lodge

Classic A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.

Located in a private reserve just a 3.5 hour drive from Cape Town, Sanbona Dwyka Tented Lodge offers a unique wildlife experience within the arid landscape of South Africa's Little Karoo. The tented lodge is situated within a ravine among striking rock formations. Each of the 9 luxury tents have private decks with heated plunge pools, en0suite bathrooms with both shower and bath, outdoor shower, heating and cooling, and minibar. The common area features a spa, open-air dining boma, lounge and wine cellar.

Thanks to a successful reintroduction of indigenous flora and fauna, Sanbona Reserve is home to over 600 species of plants and numerous animal species, including the Big 5. Activities include game drives, guided walks, spa treatments, and stargazing.
