Takwela Camp is located on private land at the confluence of the Luangwa and Mwaleshi Rivers in the North Luangwa National Park. Opened seasonally from mid-June to late October it consists of four thatch chalets with en suite open-air facilities including flush toilet, shower and basin with running water. The main area features a ‘Sitenje’ lounge, dining and bar area and offers stunning views over a resident hippo pod to pristine bush on all sides. Activities include day and night game drives and walking safaris.
