Tangulia Mara
Tangulia Mara is a tented safari camp situated on a bend of the Mara River and overlooks springs and a salt lick. The camp has seven en suite tents and a family tent consisting of two ensuite bedrooms with a shared sitting area. Located near the Musiara Gate of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the reserves famed game viewing and river crossings are easily accessed. The name Tangulia means “to lead” in Kiswahili and is at the core of the camp’s existence. With over twenty-five years of guiding in the Mara, the owners Jackson and Dominic are more than qualified to give guests a truly authentic insight to Maasai culture, customs, beliefs and knowledge of the fauna and flora here. In fact, it's the only fully Maasai owned and operated property of its class. Tangulia has seven en suite tents and a family tent consisting of two ensuite bedrooms with a shared sitting area.
Activities include day game drives in the Reserve, guided walks along the Oloololo Escarpment, Maasai village visits, as well as optional balloon safaris.
