Tawana

Tawana is located in the south-eastern sector of the Moremi Game Reserve, on the banks of the Gomoti River. The area is well known for its healthy population of predators, in particular lions, African wild dogs and leopard and a high concentration of wildlife year-round, as well as more than 400 bird species. The camp offers eight completely private and spacious suites, including five standard and three family rooms, on raised decking with air-conditioning over beds and indoor and outdoor en suite facilities including a luxurious bath, a separate lounge area and private terrace with plunge pool and outdoor sala.

The camp is fully solar allowing 24-hour electricity throughout. The main area allows indoor and outdoor dining complete with a wood-fired oven, library and walk-in wine cellar. During down-time between game drives, you can use the weights and yoga mats provided in rooms, enjoy the 16-metre lap pool, an in-room spa treatment or relax before dinner around the communal fire pit.

Early morning and late afternoon game drives with experienced guides and trackers, many of whom grew up in the surrounding area, allows you to explore the beautiful landscape. Optional helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta is also available (additional fees apply).
