2022 Spring Galloping Gnus Newsletter

June 1, 2022 Galloping Gnus Newsletter

Greetings AAC friends and family!

With Summer around the corner, we are looking forward to the longer, brighter days ahead. With this newfound optimism comes the longing to explore. Yet, it’s often the tried-and-true ways of the past that are the most effective to experience something new.

Last month, we briefly touched on “Vintage Safaris” in our 10 reasons to visit Africa blog post. A vintage safari transports you back in time, when a safari meant slowing down the pace of travel for a more tranquil, immersive experience with nature. There’s a beauty and reassuring simplicity to the more rustic quality of these sort of camps and lodges.

Ultimately, a vintage safari is an adventure into the unknown, a spirited journey of self-discovery. To learn more about vintage safaris and our favorite destinations for them, read our So what does a vintage safari experience look like? blog post.

In other news, we recently announced our 20th annual Client Photo Competition. Please enjoy looking through the gallery of our outstanding Winners and Honorable Mentions!

We have just finalized our 2023 Signature Group Photographic Safaris. These bespoke departures are personally curated by us to highlight the best guides, game viewing regions and are ideal for clients interested in photography. Space on these departures is limited so please contact us for details!

We are so honored to both be recognized by Travel+Leisure as Top Travel Specialists for Africa. We believe this reflects the incredible work of the entire travel design team at the Africa Adventure Company!

All of us here at AAC want you to know that the sights, sounds and people of Africa are life changing and we hope to be part of your travel planning for 2023 and beyond!
