Mark and I are finishing up our visit to East Africa over short rains season. We have been part of a small safari group being hosted by Dereck and Beverly Joubert at their Mara Plains home in Mara, Kenya. They invited us to witness the raw beauty of the private conservancies that Great Plains commits to preserving habitats, in harmonious coexistence with Masaai communities. Save the Date Feb. 06 for the annual Safari Soiree with hosts Dereck and Beverly. Call the office to reserve your seat (954) 491-8877.
A morning drive with green season showstopper from Amboseli.
Mark and I had an amazing stay at Mara Plains reserve level camp which is adjacent to the Mara and surrounding private conservancy. In four days we saw numerous lion prides, a leopard up in a tree with its kill, and a mom cheetah with her cubs. Plus the seasonal movement of zebra, eland, and wildebeest through the Naibosho Conservancy looking for the short green grasses.
Mark will be bringing back some great stories for the Africa Adventure Company clients.
Dereck and Beverly filming live! Amazing to be with them for two days out on safari.
What fun we had hosted by Great Plains and fellow colleagues from the Safari Pros organization!
Mark is Happy knowing your safari booking makes a difference at ground level for local people living amongst wildlife and our impact for Great Plains Conservation.
