Nershada in Victoria Falls and Okavango Delta
Nershada in Victoria Falls – Day 01+02
A new day has dawned for Zimbabwe, and what better way than to have Nershada and Rhoda visiting Victoria Falls to experience first-hand the exciting wind of change from the last two weeks. We remain cautiously optimistic that wildlife conservation and community tourism in Zimbabwe will change for the positive – all is possible.
Nershada in Little Tubu – Day 03+04
Greetings from the world famous Okavango Delta. We are staying at Little Tubu Camp which is just beautiful. It was magical to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping as the sun came up. We had a fantastic game drive today where we saw a mother giraffe with her baby. The highlight was following a pack of wild dog as they hunted!
Nershada in Little Vumbura – Day 05+06
We have arrived at our new Wilderness Safaris camp, Little Vumbura that sits on an island and is accessed by boat, making the approach unique and exciting. The game viewing is consistently good all year round and the open vehicles allow day and night drives, with viewing animals in the savannah areas. We enjoyed some epic sightings including lion and jackal puppies. It was idyllic to enjoy our first mokoro ride.
Nershada in Duba Plains – Day 07+08
Our wonderful safari to Botswana has come to our end. We stayed at both the beautiful Duba Plains and Duba Expedition Camp, located on a 77,000 acre private concession in the heart of the game rich Okavango Delta. This region of the delta is famous for the lion and buffalo interactions. Both camps are spectacular. We enjoyed a sighting to complete the Big 5 – one of the white rhino from the relocation Rhino Conservation Botswana project.
