So long!
Hi All,
Saying goodbye after 15 years is not easy and I don’t even know where to begin.
Went down on nostalgia lane remembering the interview day I spent in the office. Shortly after that my AAC journey began and tomorrow that journey ends.
I thank you all so much for everything! I learned a lot from each of you and grew into who I am today. It was an adventure! We shared laughs, cries and everything in between including safaris, breakfasts, lunches, xmas parties, travel shows, covid pains, get togethers and so on.
So many memories and with many of you I spent this entire time together from day 1.
I also feel very fortunate that I had a chance to go on wonderful educational trips to many amazing parts of Africa and got to relive those trips while sending people on safaris and talking about the adventures, so in some ways it felt as I was always on safari somewhere….
The same gratitude goes for the many clients whose safaris I was part of over the years (please enjoy reading the attached messages – such great clients AAC has! Amazing to read what they remember – travel shows, how a cancellation was handled, everything we do matters!).
It was without a doubt a solid ride! Again, thank you so much for everything, all the opportunities, companionship, professional and personal support as I look forward to moving towards my next chapter (below picture at Serra Cafema perfectly describes that feeling)!
Here is to the next chapter not just for me, but for the AAC team as well! Keep going strong y’all, I’ll be watching!
Now I will carry on with the emails and shed some tears, tears of appreciation and joy of having spent my last 15 years with this great team!
Many many thanks,
