Itinerary Description

This flying safari covers the main attractions of Namibia while enjoying much of the stunning landscape from the air. This itinerary features wonderful lodges and permanent tented camps. Take activities with resident camp guides at Namib-Naukluft National Park (home to Sossusvlei), Damaraland and a private reserve bordering Etosha National Park. In all the parks you will have time for various game viewing activities. The trip departs daily.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Windhoek

On arrival in Windhoek, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight AM Weinberg Boutique Hotel.

Day 02+03

Sossusvlei

Following breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Sossusvlei. On arrival you will be transferred to your camp. Here you will enjoy two days of activities. 2 nights Little Kulala or Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.

Day 04+05

Damaraland or Doros Nawas

Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Twyfelfontein (or Doro Nawas) airstrip. From there you will board a scheduled charter flight onward to your camp’s airstrip. Enjoy two day of activities based from your camp. Damaraland is a ruggedly beautiful region located inland from the Skeleton Coast. Wildlife is not concentrated and the natural laws of food and water dictate the movements of the rare desert elephant and black rhino, gemsbok, kudu, and springbok. Early morning mists, generated by the clash between the icy Atlantic Ocean and the warm desert air of the Skeleton Coast, drift inland along the stark canyon, providing sustenance to the flora and fauna of the region. Rare succulent plants somehow manage to eke out an existence in this harsh countryside. 2 nights Damaraland Camp or Desert Rhino Camp or Onduli Ridge.

Day 06+07

Ongava

Ongava Private Game Reserve that shares a common boundary with Etosha’s southern boundary. On arrival you will be transferred to your camp. Today you will have an afternoon game activity. The following day enjoy a variety of activities. 2 nights Ongava Tented Camp or Andersson’s or Little Ongava.

Day 08

Windhoek

Return scheduled charter flight to Windhoek.
