Itinerary Description

This safari features luxury accommodations from the Safari Collection portfolio of smaller lodges and camps. You visit Samburu, Laikipia's Solio Ranch, Maasai Mara and Giraffe Manor. The diversity of activities includes both day and night game drives, walking and hikes, and exploring by horseback and camel. This ‘Adventurer’ safari utilizes charter flights between the parks. You will have an opportunity for cultural interaction of both the Samburu and Maasai people. Enjoy special 30-35% savings with 7-night stay at the Safari Collection Portfolio of camps!

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight House of Waine.

Day 02-04

Samburu or Laikipia or Lewa

After breakfast transfer to the local airport for your onward scheduled charter flight to Samburu National Reserve or Laikipia. On arrival you will be transferred to your camp. Enjoy an afternoon game-drive. Activities at Sasaab include game drives, camel walks, cultural visits and bush walks. Activities at Solio include horseback riding, walking, game drives, fishing trips to Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains. Enjoy a day of game viewing activities. 3 nights Sasaab, Solio Lodge, or Sirikoi.

Day 05-07

Maasai Mara

Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival you will be met and continue to camp. Activities include game drives in 4×4 vehicles and bird watching. An optional balloon safari can be arranged and the camp is 25 minutes drive from the launch site. This is a seasonal camp and is closed annually during May. Enjoy two days of game viewing. 3 nights Sala’s Camp, Mara Nyika or Mara Plains.

Day 08

Nairobi

Morning activity. Board your scheduled charter flight to Nairobi. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Giraffe Manor.

Day 09

Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast with the giraffes. Following breakfast, you will check out of your room by 10:00am and walk over to The Retreat at Giraffe Manor. Here you will enjoy the facilities and relax for the remainder of the day (drinks and meals are payable directly).
This evening transfer to the International airport.
