Morning arrival in Dubai. Depart on your connecting flight to Lusaka. On arrival, board your inter-Africa flight to South Luangwa. Arrive in the evening, in time for cocktails and dinner. 4 nights at Puku Ridge or Chichele Presidential.
Enjoy three days of activities, the highlight being walking safaris. Walking safaris were first pioneered in this park by Norman Carr, and are conducted by a licensed walking guide accompanied by an armed national parks game scout. Morning and afternoon walks are offered. Walking safaris are only conducted from June-October during the dry season when the foliage has thinned out enough for safe walking.
Transfer this morning to the airstrip for your inter-Africa flight to Jeki airstrip, Lower Zambezi National Park. From here you will be transferred to your camp which is situated along the lower Zambezi River, on the opposite side of Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe). The park is home to prides of lion, family herds of elephant, buffalo, hippo, leopard and a variety of antelope. You can explore the park both from vehicles and boating activities on the river. Game drives are conducted in four wheel drive vehicles. Safaris on foot can be organized, being particularly rewarding for those keen to be closer to nature. Enjoy two days of game viewing activities, 3 nights Chiawa Camp.
Depart today on your inter-Africa fight to Livingstone, Zambia. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your lodge. 2 nights Chundukwa River Lodge or Mukwa River Lodge.
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge this morning. Transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Lusaka.
