Itinerary Description

This safari is ideal for those interested in wildlife photography and game viewing. Travel as a small AAC group with a maximum of 6 guests. Enjoy an exclusive AAC guide and vehicle for Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater and Eastern Serengeti.  Your adventure continues with a flying safari to the Northern Serengeti. Your exclusive guide will accompany you on the flight and continue guiding at your last camp. This creates a seamless, “next-level” experience for you.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Kilimanjaro/Arusha

On arrival in Kilimanjaro Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight Kahawa Cottages.

Day 02

Tarangire

After breakfast and safari briefing, depart by road with your exclusive AAC guide to your tented camp situated within Tarangire National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and picnic lunch. Return to your camp for dinner. Overnight Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge.

Day 03+04

Ngorongoro Crater

Depart this morning with a picnic lunch and enjoy an extended game drive in Tarangire National Park. In the afternoon you will visit an authentic Maasai village located on the outskirts of the park. Continue on to your lodge, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which was a pioneer experiment in reconciling the interests of wildlife animals and indigenous forests with the needs of the local Maasai tribe. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Next morning depart to the Crater Rim and descend for a morning of game viewing on the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Return to your lodge and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. 2 nights Lion’s Paw.

Day 05+06

Serengeti

This morning you will depart with your guide and continue to the Eastern Serengeti, game viewing enroute.   Enjoy an afternoon game drive.

A day of game viewing usually consists of morning and afternoon game drives. On your return to the camp after a morning game drive you may have an excellent late breakfast or gourmet picnic lunch when you then may relax on the veranda of your tent. Afternoon tea and a further game drive is followed by iced cold drinks and a delicious dinner. All your meals are excellent and are taken in a separate dining tent. You may wish to be flexible on your game drives and take a packed breakfast departing at sunrise and return for a late lunch. Or if you prefer, have an early breakfast in camp and take a picnic lunch returning to camp for dinner. 2 nights Olmara Camp.

Day 07-09

Serengeti

This morning, your guide will transfer you to the airstrip and join you on the scheduled charter flight to your next camp, located in the northern Serengeti. Here you will continue to be guided by your exclusive AAC guide throughout the next three days. 3 nights KasKaz Mara Camp.

Day 10

Serengeti/Arusha/Kilimanjaro

This morning you will have another game drive en route to the airstrip.  Board your scheduled charter flight to Arusha. On arrival you will be transferred to your lodge. A dayroom has been reserved (inclusive of lunch).  This evening, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport. Dayroom: Kahawa Cottages.
