Itinerary Description

This safari is for the adventurer who would like to view the various species of game the traditional way - on foot, as well as on day and night game drives. Begin your adventure with a flying safari to two different regions of Botswana giving you insight to the incredible wildlife. Spend two nights in Livingstone, the Zambian-side of Victoria Falls. With two nights you have a full day to explore. End your safari in the heart of Zambia, the Lower Zambezi. Four nights gives you three full days of walking safaris and day/night game drives.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Johannesburg

On arrival in Johannesburg, South Africa, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight African Rock.

Day 02

Kwando Concession

This morning you will be transferred to the airport. Depart on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Maun, Botswana. On arrival you will be met by your pilot and board the aircraft for your scheduled charter flight to your camp. Overnight Kwando Lagoon Camp.

Day 03+04

Kwando Concession

Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. 2 nights Kwando Lagoon Camp.

Day 05

Okavango Delta

Following a morning game drive and brunch in camp, board your scheduled charter flight to your next camp located in the Okavango Delta. Overnight Splash Camp or Kwara Camp.

Day 06+07

Okavango Delta

Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. Overnight Splash Camp or Kwara Camp.

Day 08+09

Livingstone

There are so many exciting activities included in your stay, such as a Sunset game viewing river cruise, tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls with local Zambian guide including scheduled transfers, fishing, scheduled transfers to/from Livingstone Airport, Local market tour, boat cruise, private local dish cooking class, Floating deck dinner (recommended to be prebooked), and Village cultural tour. 2 nights Mukwa River Lodge.

Day 10

Lower Zambezi

Today you will be transferred to the Livingstone Airport. Depart on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Lusaka. Connect to your onward scheduled flight to the Lower Zambezi and your camp’s airstrip. On arrival you will be transferred to your camp which is situated along the lower Zambezi River, on the opposite side of Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe). Enjoy an afternoon/evening game activity. Overnight Tusk & Mane Kutali Camp, Anabezi or Chiawa Camp.

Day 11-13

Lower Zambezi River

Enjoy three days of game viewing activities. Activities include day and night game drives (maximum of 4 people per vehicle), game viewing hides, safaris by boat, canoeing down the Lower Zambezi, catch and release fishing and bush walks. Night game drives are enhanced by non-invasive red lights on the spotlight and headlights. 3 nights Tusk & Mane Kutali Camp, Anabezi or Chiawa Camp.

Day 14

Lower Zambezi/Lusaka/Johannesburg

This morning board your inter-Africa flight to Lusaka and onward to Johannesburg.
