Experience the best of Kenya on this flying safari. Your adventure includes three nights in a tented camp in Amboseli and three nights in the Maasai Mara. Continue to Egypt where you will have the services of a PRIVATE Egyptologist for your tours in Cairo and throughout your luxurious four-night cruise.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01+02

USA/Europe/Nairobi

Depart this evening on an overnight flight to Europe. Connect with your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at House of Waine.

Day 03-05

Amboseli

You will be met and transferred to Wilson Airport. Take a scheduled charter flight to Amboseli. Activities are varied include game drives in open-top Land Rovers, morning picnics or sundowners – all the more spectacular thanks to the presence of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Enjoy two full days of activities. 3 nights Tortilis Camp.

Day 06-08

Maasai Mara

Depart on your scheduled charter flight, flying via Nairobi, to your next camp within the Maasai Mara National Reserve. 3 nights Kichwa Tembo.

Day 09

Maasai Mara/Nairobi

Board your scheduled charter flight to Nairobi. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or do some last minute shopping. Overnight Karen Blixen Cottages.

Day 10-12

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Cairo. On arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy 2 full days of activities: Visit to Pyramids of Giza with entrance Cheops and the Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkarra. You will drive through old Cairo and the old Bazaar for sightseeing and shopping. 3 nights Mena House.

Day 13

Morning transfer to the Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor where you will board your boat for the Nile cruise. After lunch, depart with your private Egyptologist to tour Luxor’s West Bank – Thebes. Sightseeing includes the Valley of the Kings, and the Valley of the Queens. 4 nights Sun Boat IV or Yakouta Dahabeya.

Day 14

Following breakfast visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples. This afternoon, set sail to Esna. Enjoy lunch onboard followed by a tour of the Temple of Khnum at Esna. Ship sails to Edfu.

Day 15

This morning you will visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus (built in 237BC), to honor the Falcon God. Sail to Kom Ombo where you will tour its temple along the Nile River. The ship sails to Aswan this evening.

Day 16

This morning tour the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, overnight on the ship in Aswan.

Day 17

This morning you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. At Abu Simbel you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the temple of Ramses II and his favorite wife Nefertari. Fly back to Aswan where you will enjoy a private felucca ride on the Nile River. Overnight Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan Hotel.

Day 18

After breakfast, enjoy the morning at leisure. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel where you will have the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Intercontinental Semiramis Nile Hotel.

Transfer to the airport this morning for your international flight.
